Do you offer virtual and in-person tutoring?

Yes! We offer both virtual and in-person tutoring.

In-person tutoring is currently available in Raleigh, Cary, and Apex, subject to tutor availability. Sessions are held at public locations such as local libraries or other mutally agreed-upon meeting spaces.Virtual tutoring has come a long way! Our interactive 1:1 online sessions use digital whiteboards, live annotation, screen sharing, and AI-powered Zoom recordings to create an engaging learning experience. Many families find virtual tutoring just as effective (if not more!) - and often more convenient - than meeting in person.

Do you offer one-time tutoring sessions?

No. We specialize in recurring weekly tutoring because consistent instruction leads to stronger academic progress, greater confidence, and lasting results. Your student will meet with the same tutor each week at a reserved day and time, allowing us to build momentum and develop a personalized learning plan.

What happens if my child misses a session?

If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you'll receive a make-up credit in your student portal. Simply use the credit to book another available session with your tutor before it expires.Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a make-up. Browse our tutor profiles and choose the tutor who best fits your student's academic needs, goals, and schedule. Once you've chosen a tutor, you can book your recurring sessions directly through the student portal.

Can we change our recurring schedule?

Yes. Schedule changes can be made within the portal and subject to tutor availability. We recommend submitting requests prior to the next monthly billing cycle.

How does billing work?

A secure payment method is kept on file, and monthly tuition for recurring sessions is automatically processed through the student portal.

How long are tutoring sessions?

Most tutoring sessions are 60 minutes, which provides the ideal balance of instruction, guided practice, and questions. Longer sessions may be available for advanced coursework or exam preparation.

What if my preferred tutor isn't available?

Accepted Answer

Our tutors often fill their schedules quickly. If your preferred tutor doesn't have availability,  you can join their waitlist or choose another qualified tutor with similar expertise.
